Meghan Markle’s Givenchy wedding gown was a head turner, but her reception dress was just as stunning. It just didn’t get as much mainstream press. The Stella McCartney gown that she wore, with its bare shoulders and halter neck, was a lesson in understated elegance. It perfectly embodied the California native’s laid back cool vibes.

It’s no surprise then that LA-based retailer Fashion Nova has decided to make a long white dress inspired by the Duchess’ effortless post-wedding look.

Fashion Nova

The look is aptly called the Royal Debut Dress, and as similar to Meghan’s dress as it may seem, there are a few subtle differences, the main one being the price tag. The maxi dress is just $45 USD, which is just under $60 CAD. Not bad for a royal-inspired look, especially one that could double as an actual wedding dress for any brides to be out there.

The Royal Debut Dress is fully lined, made in the U.S., and has a zipper up the back to easily slide in and out of.

Brides or not, it turns out that a lot of women want to look like Meghan en route to her wedding reception. The Royal Debut Dress has sold out in all sizes on Fashion Nova’s website. Any other fashion companies watching? There’s a serious appetite for affordable royal-inspired styles.

Currently, users can sign up with an email address to be notified when the gown has been restocked. Fashion Nova is known for its fast fashion and is adding new products to its website on the daily, so chances are there are machines stitching up a storm to make a fresh lot of these cheap and cheerful Stella McCartney-inspired frocks.

A pregnant Meghan has been on a whirlwind tour of Australia and New Zealand, so long white wedding gowns aren’t necessarily part of her current wardrobe. But maybe Fashion Nova will take note of some of her travel outfits from the royal tour and gift the world some more Duchess-inspired clothes to fuss about.
