Canada, a man in Halifax desperately needs your help.
Ottawa resident Andy Gaudry was visiting the East Coast city last week to celebrate his grandma’s 80th birthday. But on Friday (June 3), he decided to hit the town with some cousins he hadn’t seen in a while, and things got, er, a little blurry from there.
“I lost my pants Friday night,” Gaudry wrote on Reddit. “They’re charcoal Calvin Klein chinos. Inside my pants are my wallet and cell phone. I was staying at the Marriott harbour front (sic).”
Gaudry says that he “blacked out” that night and doesn’t even remember taking the pants off. When he woke up the next day without them, he got hotel staff to review security camera footage which confirmed Gaudry was pantless by the time he returned to the building.
Which means that this is basically Hangover 4.
Gaudry hoped his post would help jog someone’s memory, after all, anyone who saw him in the city that night likely would’ve taken notice, since he was wearing “hot pink” underwear.
“…imagine a 30 year old galavanting around town in pink undies, pretty easy to point out,” he wrote.
Now if this were anywhere else in the world, the pants would be long gone. But because this is Canada, someone did indeed help with the search. By Monday morning (June 6), staff at the Marriott in Halifax, N.S., tweeted out a photo of the pants, saying they had been found.

Apparently, staff recovered the pants on Lower Water Street, complete with Gaudry’s cellphone and wallet.
“That’s incredible thank you so much!” Gaudry responded on Reddit.
We just hope he keeps his pants on the next time he decides to have a night on the town.
