As you’ve probably noticed by now, Canada geese have begun returning home from their winter vacations down south.

They’re starting to reappear in parks, fields and sometimes even in cities. But one mother goose chose an unusual place to settle down this year: the window ledge of Bioware, a company that develops video games.

As soon as employees noticed the goose making a nest outside, they immediately installed a camera that watches her all day long–basically awaiting the moment when those eggs finally hatch. The live feed has since attracted fans from all over the world, even in countries as far away as Russia.

“I check on her when I get in in the morning and say goodbye before I leave,” said Robyn Theberge, the employee who found her.

Because it’s mostly gamers watching the video feed though, it was only a matter of time before this mother goose found herself being transformed into all kinds of epic characters:

Although it wasn’t long before mother goose had to go back to being a mom. And it looks like she did just in time, because her eggs finally hatched earlier today:

Looks like we owe a big congrats to the new mama. While it’s still unclear if she’ll ever actually appear in a video game, Bioware employees certainly seem keen on the idea:

“I would like to see that, as a fan of games,” Theberge said.
