Remember that time Kim Kardashian set out to break the Internet? And then she one-upped herself and did it again, proving that maybe, just maybe, she shouldn’t actually be allowed to used the damned thing? Well apparently, it’s a family trait.
We say so because Kim’s pregnant sis Kourtney has joined in on the nude-celeb bandwagon, in an apparent bid to outdo her little sister. Because what breaks the Internet quicker than a bum? A baby bump, obviously. And these are some pretty provocative pregnancy shots, if you ask us. Think see-through, wet garments, silky robes and more. The thing is, Kourtney looks freaking amazing. You can’t really blame her for wanting to show her bump off.
The pics were taken by celebrity photog Brian Bowen Smith during a shoot that was styled by Monica Rose for DuJour magazine. As we type, they’re pretty much on the verge of going viral, probably in large part because you can see ALL of Kourtney’s breasts in one shot. According to the reality TV star, this all came about because she just loves her pregnant body.
The 35-year-old told the publication that when she was pregnant with her first child, Mason, she did a nude photo shoot, last minute, just for herself. “This time, we were shooting for our show, and everyone on our camera crew was just like, ‘You are so comfortable just walking around naked and pregnant!'”
Naturally, that was all the inspiration Kourtney needed to pose officially.
She does still have some limits though, it seems. When the mom-to-be (again) was asked about whether she’d pose in the nude when not pregnant, she didn’t give a firm “never,” but she did admit it’s not something that’s on her bucket list.
“I would never say never, but I don’t think so, no. What appeals to me is celebrating the shape of my body being pregnant and capturing that time in my life… It’s a wonderful thing to be able to show my children these photographs one day and say, ‘This was you inside.'”
Let’s wait and see what the kids have to say when they’re older, shall we?
Your move Kim.
