Oh man, that Chinese food from last night was really good. So good, in fact, that you want to break it out again for lunch. When you take off the lid of the steamed rice, your dreams are dashed — it’s all clumped together and hard. Not very appetizing.
When you attempt to microwave it, things just get worse. And harder. And grosser. But don’t worry, leftover lovers, there is a solution, provided to us by the good folks at BuzzFeed. It’s so ridiculously easy, in fact, that you won’t believe that you haven’t thought of it before.
(Note: Be careful with old rice. It can potentially cause food poisoning if not handled carefully. So if it’s more than a few days old, it might be best to just toss it.)
