We hope you were at Pearson Airport last weekend, because you would’ve arrived just in time for its EPIC FOAM PARTAAAY!
Why haven’t you heard about this legendary jam, you ask? Well staff at the airport weren’t exactly planning on holding an event. Instead, a malfunctioning fire suppression system brought the party to them.
Police were called to the airport Saturday after foam started spewing out of the machine in the morning, and didn’t stop until the suds were piled six metres high. There’s no word of the foam grounding any flights or causing major disturbances, but it was only a matter of time before people who passed by got some ideas.
“We should have a foam party at least or something,” one man says in the video above.
And a foam party they had:
Just in case you’re concerned, the foam is totally harmless both to people and the environment. It took crews an entire day just to clear it out, and now it’s business as usual back at the airport.
Which is a bit of a shame, because “Party at Pearson” had such a nice ring to it.
