Adele has been on something of a tear lately. Not only is her new album, 25, which launched last Friday, projected to shatter the existing one-week-sales record (currently held by ‘NSync), but she’s also proven herself excellent fodder for pop culture.

SNL riffed on the fact that her new single, Hello, is pretty much impossible to not sing along to, in a skit that had the British singer’s angelic voice solving all sorts of family drama.

The Muppets got theirs, too, spoofing on the Hello music video in an ad for their new show.

Not even Adele herself could resist getting in on the action. For her upcoming special, Live in London (this Wednesday folks!), she showed up in disguise as a nanny, Jenny, surprising other Adele impersonators. (The jig was up as soon as she opened her mouth to sing, obviously.)

It’s warranted, all this hype. The woman can sing. Like, really, really sing. She’s screaming “Hello from the other side,” and they can definitely hear her on both sides. The isolated mic feed from her SNL performance will give you goosebumps…on your soul. Yeah, that’s a thing.
