Teens these days are known for their unabashed love of selfies. They’ll take ’em in the shower, in hospitals and even during exams. Yep, nothing beats a good selfie and the few that these Canadian kids took while in a washroom are truly something else.

Ottawan Marhi Smith and Morgan Shepard were out with friends chillin’ in a casino washroom (obviously taking selfies) when a sweet older woman passed by and told them how cute they looked.

“She was so nice!” Smith said. “She was like, ‘I miss going out with my girlfriends. We would get dressed up and have so much fun.”

So, naturally, the teens told her that she could totally be a part of their girl crew and proceeded to take the most fabulous selfies imaginable.

“She came in for the pictures and she was more photogenic than any of us. She was loving it! It was so much fun,” Smith said.

Sadly the teens only chatted with the woman for a few more minutes without catching her name. To commemorate their interesting selfie adventure, Smith decided to upload the pictures to Twitter, briefly explaining the sweet story behind them.

“I just saw the pictures that made me smile…and then it just blew up.” Yeah, blew up as in it’s been retweeted more than 78,000 times and liked just over 261,000 times.

Here’s how people reacted:

“We need more positivity like that. Everybody’s so negative all the time and it’s just to show that no matter what age or who you are…you can always include somebody,” Smith’s friend said.

Now all they have to do is somehow get in touch with the older woman. We’re looking forward to seeing a subsequent viral reunion selfie.
