Mama Alanis is ready for more

Alanis Morissette and husband, rapper Mario Treadway, are gearing up for another addition. The couple are expecting their second child and Alanis broke the news to fans on her website on Friday via YouTube in a video titled “Souleye + Ever + me + love = sweetness.”

The video was first released in 2011 to Morissette’s song “Into a King” after their son was born, to mark the couple’s one-year anniversary. But new imagery has since been added — the most telling was the last scene which shows Alanis, Mario and Ever looking at ultrasound photos of Ever’s unborn sibling. The revised intro to the video, animated by Brendan Huza, says, “The story of my nuclear family in moving pictures, brings us up to this sweet moment.” Aw.

“May this song take on ever-deepening meaning as each year goes by,” the singer wrote on her website. Sing it, mama! And congrats to Alanis, Mario and Ever.

Tyra Banks shows off son York for the first time

It’s not exactly a full-on selfie but Tyra gave us the first glimmer of her son when she posted a Valentine’s Day pic.

This is the Happiest Valentine’s Day of my life. York, Daddy @erikasla and I send you so much love.

It may be Tyra’s happiest Valentine’s Day but she looks more thoughtful and thankful than anything else as baby York nuzzles into his mother’s chest. We can’t wait for Banks to share more shots of her and Erik Asla’s son. Just gorgeous.

Ryan Reynolds helps a young fan battling cancer

It’s Deadpool to the rescue — and who better to help than the superhero’s “biggest fan on earth?” Because according to Reynolds, that’s exactly what Connor McGrath is.

Ryan likened Connor to Deadpool’s alter ego, Wade Wilson, who, just like the boy, is “trying to put cancer in his rearview mirror.” Reynolds also shared that six weeks prior, he visited McGrath at his Edmonton hospital to show him Deadpool, making him the first person to ever see the film. Awesome.

Ryan posted a link to Connor’s You Caring page, and urged fans to join him in donating money for the boy’s treatment costs. An update from the fundraiser on Sunday revealed that the latest round of chemo treatment did not take and his disease has progressed. But Connor is going to keep fighting like the brave superhero-loving kid he is. Keep on battling, kiddo.

Ladies, gentlemen, boys and girls. This is my friend, Connor McGrath. He’s quite possibly the biggest #Deadpool fan on…

Taylor’s brother’s got her back

Things are escalating in the war we thought was over. It seems that Kanye West hasn’t put his feud (Was it a feud? A skirmish? We have no idea.) with Taylor Swift behind him. Case in point, these new lyrics “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why, I made that bitch famous / God damn / I made that bitch famous.”

Well, we know one person who’s putting Kanye behind him. Taylor’s brother, Austin Swift, shared his feeling on Instagram this weekend. There’s Austin (we assume that’s Austin anyway) trashing a pair of Yeezy 350 Boosts. Two hundred dollar Kanye kicks, straight into the can. Calm and quiet. We call it Swift style:

Getting a head start on some spring cleaning. Here we go again.

Lady Gaga got another tattoo, this time of David Bowie

Gaga is set to perform at the Grammy Awards Monday night, where she will pay tribute to the late, great David Bowie. But she’s honouring him in another way as well.

Gaga just got Bowie’s beautiful face tattooed on her side. She Snapchatted the inking while it was happening on Saturday night, captioning one shot, “this was the image that changed my life.” Another shot she wrote, “Hail Mary full of grace Saint Bowie,” while another was simply “Blackstar.” Perfect.
