If you’re anything like us, we know your used donation pile is taking up one corner of your room. You’ve made the pile, tossed in the sweaters, shoes and bags you haven’t worn in ages, but you’ve yet to actually take said pile anywhere to be put to good use. And let’s be real, it’s been a while — one might even call it a shamefully long time to have a bag of donations, falling over lopsided next to your bedside table. Just us?
Well, great news for all you procrastinators with good intentions. Aldo has teamed up with Give Back Box making it SUPER EASY to donate your lightly used clothes, shoes, handbags and accessories to Goodwill and Salvation Army.
How, you ask? Simple. Just fill up an Aldo shoebox (or any box, for that matter), print out the free shipping label, drop it off at UPS, or if your building has one, leave it in the mail room for UPS to pick up. That’s it. Aldo and Give Back Box will do the rest.
If you’re curious as to where your wares are going, donated items will be sorted and sold by the participating charity. The cash will be used to fund community-based programs, including employment placement services and job training, and towards financial education and transportation for people in need. Plus, your clothes won’t end up in a landfill.
Buying a new pair of shoes at Aldo? Then you definitely know what to do with the box.
