The push for Avengers: Endgame has been strong, fast and furious and we are loving every minute of it. Last night, stars hit the purple carpet for the world premiere of the film—the culmination of 11 years of movies, 20 separate films and performances from pretty much everyone living and working in Hollywood in the past decade.
There are few words that can describe the celebration that marked the premiere of this film, so we’ll let the pics speak for themselves. Here’s what all your faves wore on the Avengers: Endgame red carpet.
Avengers: Endgame hits theatres April 25.
All your faves were stunning on the ‘Avengers: Endgame’ purple carpet
Scarlett Johansson and Colin JostCheck out that bling! And we don’t mean ScarJo’s dazzling Atelier Versace dress. We’re talking about her Thanos-inspired cuff and Infinity Stone rings. Well played, Black Widow, well played. VALERIE MACON/AFP/Getty Images
Brie LarsonLooks like Brie and Scarlett might have coordinated their looks because Captain Marvel showed up with the same arm bling as her fellow Avenger (though a little more subtle). We love that both ladies kept their looks relatively simple—Brie’s lavender Celine gown is classic and stunning—and let their accessories shine. VALERIE MACON/AFP/Getty Images
Liam Hemsworth and Miley CyrusLiam came out to support his brother Chris’s seventh appearance as Thor and had his incredible wife, Miley Cyrus, by his side. The youngest Hemsworth looked dapper in his black suit sans tie and Cyrus exuded old school glamour with her black velvet peekaboo Saint Laurent gown. VALERIE MACON/AFP/Getty Images
Zoe SaldanaWhy don’t we see more fuchsia on red carpets? Maybe because few can pull it off like Ms. Saldana here. Zoe traded in her green body paint for this vibrant and futuristic Givenchy Haute Couture dress and looked every inch the Guardian of the Galaxy she is. VALERIE MACON/AFP/Getty Images
Danai GuriraDanai went a similar route with her flowing hot pink Oscar de la Renta gown. The whole look is pretty sweet and feminine, but we all know there’s a strong warrior in there. Where is Black Panther 2? VALERIE MACON/AFP/Getty Images
Gwyneth PaltrowGwyneth went short, structured and chic for her purple carpet appearance, sporting red nails for that pop of colour. You better believe we’ll be incorporating a mini-dress-length blazer into our wardrobes this season. VALERIE MACON/AFP/Getty Images
Robert Downey Jr. and Susan DowneyWow, looks like RDJ actually stood still long enough for someone to catch a photo of him! The man has been vibrating with anticipation since this press tour started and if we weren’t already excited about the movie, Downey’s inescapable energy would certainly do the trick. The Downeys were delightfully coordinated in matching black sparkles. VALERIE MACON/AFP/Getty Images
Chris Hemsworth and Elsa PatakyAnother hero in a patterned suit. Chris was one of the few Avengers men who chose to spice up the classic suit combo with a pattern and colour. He might have been a little upstaged by his extraordinary wife in her elegant white jumpsuit, but we’re sure he doesn’t mind. VALERIE MACON/AFP/Getty Images
Bradley CooperBradley was decidedly not one of the Avengers to experiment with his look, but honestly, that’s not really his brand. Bradley’s job is to show up looking dapper as ever in a simple three-piece suit and that’s exactly what he did. VALERIE MACON/AFP/Getty Images
Natalie PortmanWell, what have we here? Natalie Portman’s presence at the Avengers premiere was enough to spark speculation that she might be in the film. Portman played Thor’s love interest, Jane, in the first two Thor movies, but was absent in the third. Does Natalie’s attendance at the premiere mean Jane and Thor have reconciled? Or is she simply supporting her former cast-mate? We need answers!Amy Sussman/Getty Images
Chris EvansChris Evans, you gorgeous man, you! The First Avenger was looking mighty fine in blue hues last night, sporting his fan-approved beard. It appears he heard our cries when a clean-shaven Captain America was featured in the Endgame trailer. VALERIE MACON/AFP/Getty Images
Chris Pratt and Katherine SchwarzeneggerCompleting the Chris trinity, Pratt showed up to walk the carpet with fiancée Katherine Schwarzenegger. It looks like they pulled the classic his-tie-matches-her-dress move, which really was a good one. VALERIE MACON/AFP/Getty Images
Vin DieselVin Diesel literally wore his admiration for his character Groot, sporting a jacket that appears to be made out of bark and moss, just like the lovable anthropomorphic tree. Diesel’s obvious love for Groot is so endearingly sweet. VALERIE MACON/AFP/Getty Images
Evangeline LillyYou can’t miss Evangeline Lilly in this flowy crimson pantsuit. The Wasp was owning that carpet like the boss she is. Slay on, Queen Bee. VALERIE MACON/AFP/Getty Images
Paul RuddPaul Rudd seemed to take a page from The Bradley Cooper Guide to Looking Dapper on a Red Carpet with this classic look. It’s pretty basic, but he’s Paul Rudd, so the real draw is his ageless face. Still there—check!VALERIE MACON/AFP/Getty Images
Tessa ThompsonTessa Thomson’s edgy Ronald van der Kemp gown is giving us major galaxy vibes and the braided top-knot gives the whole look a futuristic feel. Her stylistic nod to the film isn't as obvious as Brie’s and Scarlett’s, but it’s just as beautifully executed. VALERIE MACON/AFP/Getty Images
Mark Ruffalo and Sunrise CoigneyIt’s a real shock that Mark Ruffalo was allowed to attend the Endgame premiere after he accidentally live-streamed the first 15 minutes of Thor: Ragnarok last year. We assume he was veeery careful with his phone this time (if he was permitted to have it on him at all). VALERIE MACON/AFP/Getty Images
Matt Damon and Luciana BarrosoHmmm, well that’s puzzling. Matt Damon also made an appearance at the premiere, hanging out for a while with RDJ. Damon made a cameo in Thor: Ragnarok so it’s not totally random that he attended, but we can’t help but wonder if this means he’ll appear in this movie, too. Alberto E.
