Amy Schumer hasn’t let a little thing like growing a human inside her, having major surgery and trying to recovery from surgery while keeping the tiny human alive dull her sense of humour. The actor and comedian has stayed busy filming the podcast 3 Girls 1 Keith since the birth of her son Gene and on Tuesday’s episode, Schumer revealed she had her lawyer draft up a legal document to send to her trainer because the workouts were too hard. Whatever this lawyer is changing by the hour, it’s worth it.Schumer was appearing on her weekly podcast alongside friends and comedians Bridgett Everett, Rachel Feinstein and Keith Robinson for the season finale, which focused on physical fitness. Schumer invited trainer Harley Pasternak, who worked with the actor for 2015’s Trainwreck, as well as trainer AJ Fisher, whom Schumer has been seeing since giving birth to Gene. The topic of conversation included a debate on oatmilk and a list of Pasternak’s celebrity clients, but eventually turned litigious.
Schumer told the group that she had threatened legal action against Fisher over the severity of their workouts.  "AJ, our workouts were so hard that I threatened you near constantly,” joked Schumer, with Fisher adding "Lawsuits, there was an official cease and desist letter." Schumer admitted that she did in fact ‘lawyer-up’, enlisting the services of a man she has a history of trolling as well. "I did have my lawyer, Isaac Dunham, send her a cease and desist," said Schumer, who then read from the letter.Fisher said that Schumer had threatened legal action repeatedly during their workouts but was still stunned when she received the letter. “And then, when I finally heard from her lawyer, I opened the letter and I actually got goosebumps. I had a moment of, 'Was she serious? Is my career totally over?'"The comedian has now posted the full letter on Instagram and it really is amazing, with Dunham citing human rights violations. Schumer notes that Dunham has also been prey to her trolling, with the actor once buying bench ad space and putting her lawyers face and phone number on it.
Kidding aside, Schumer does thank Fisher for helping her recover after delivering Gene via C-section earlier this year, writing “Aj is an amazing trainer and is the reason I feel strong and good and have recovered from my herniated discs and c section.” Fisher commented on her client’s post, writing “I’m suing you for getting in shape too fast. It’s just not right. Can I borrow your lawyer?”Schumer also notes that some things are worth paying for. “Was this a wasteful use of resources? Very very much so but it brought me so much joy.”[video_embed id='6016600312001']Amy Schumer shares more about her husband’s autism[/video_embed]
