Amy Schumer has solved everyone’s summer problem with one swipe. Ok, so not everyone’s problem, but a good number of us. Admit it. #NoThighGapNoProblem
This is why we love Amy so much–she’s not afraid to say what’s on her mind, do what she wants to do, and she always finds the hilarity in what most other people just find annoying. We love her for this.
“It’s called, I don’t like to chafe”
Plug almost any other female A-Lister into this Instagram and it seems almost preposterous. No, we most certainly didn’t get this beauty tip from the Kardashians. When it comes to the raw details of femininity in 2016, we’re leaving it to Schumer.
The bright red Alexander Wang gown that Schumer wore to Monday night’s Met Gala–her first time being invited to the fashionable fete–had a dangerously high slit up the front, which meant she couldn’t wear any of the usual protective gear, like Spanx, to mitigate chafing. Nobody wants to see Spanx at work! And everybody chafes. So, instead, Schumer turned to her bathroom cabinet, swiped on some long lasting deodorant, uploaded a vid to the ‘Gram, and walked the red carpet with confidence. Smooth, silky confidence.
This is one beauty hack we’ve got to try this summer. Just don’t expect us to upload a video of it.
