All you need to do is glance at Amy Schumer's Instagram to know she's the real deal. She tells it like it is and always finds the funny, whether she's supporting a cause, promoting her work, doing stand-up, sharing her latest pregnancy update, or gushing about loved ones.So it should come as no surprise that her latest post is another winner. Schumer always finds a way to perfectly capture a beautiful, touching sentiment without going into sickeningly sweet territory. But that's the skilled comedian in her — some lovely words sprinkled with bits of hilarity and said in a way we can all relate to. It truly is a gift. The latest — but not the last — to be on the receiving end of one of her loving posts? Husband Chris Fischer. If you recall, Amy and Chris surprised everyone when they got married in 2018. It was a random Tuesday in February when they exchanged vows in a private ceremony in front of friends and family, but what made it all the more shocking was that the couple had only debuted their relationship on Instagram a few days before (yes, sounds a little ridiculous, but that's a big deal when it comes to celebs). Look at them now, though. Married for nearly two years, they welcomed son Gene earlier this year, and her posts during her pregnancy and motherhood have dominated her Instagram page, which is totally understandable when it comes to new moms. But before there was baby Gene, Amy reminded fans of a time when it was just her and Chris, and she captured her love for her husband in that classic Amy way. Just because.
Schumer wanted everyone to feel how she feels about Fischer. "I hope whoever you are with is so kind to you and also drives you crazy but you love them so much and you want to hang out with them more than anyone," she wrote. "That's what we got and I'm grateful for this guy everyday even though he loves taking different routes every time we go somewhere and I like going the way I know. It's good."Just a couple of goofballs in love who don't always think the same things or want the same things — and are maybe polar opposites — yet somehow, it works. If we're being technical, though, before Gene and Chris there was Amy and her beloved dog Tati (short for Tatiana Maslany, FYI). The the pooch is in countless pics with Schumer and Fischer. Even when she's not actually there.
They work out together because that’s what couples do. Amy and Chris may not be on the same page all the time, but they sweat exactly the same. Hard.
Amy and Chris are also not shy about showing off their hotness.
They're more than good. They're great.
