Oh, you thought we were done talking about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry? Nope, not today. The royal (or perhaps, now non-royal) saga continues, but now… it will be in animated form.Even as Markle strolls happily through parks in Vancouver with little Archie and dogs in tow and Harry delivers heart-felt speeches, the media firestorm continues. And now, as we wait for the latest update, HBO Max is ready to add fuel to the fire — so to speak. The streaming platform just gave the official green light on a new, satirical animated comedy series called The Prince and, in case the title didn’t give it away, it’s about the royal family. Basically, it’s the new series we didn’t know we needed. And now we definitely need it.The Prince, which will be produced by Family Guy’s Gary Janetti and 20th Century Fox TV, is based on Janetti’s now-famous Instagram account which pokes fun at the royals. Not to mention, the rest of the voice cast is pretty stacked, including Orlando Bloom… the Orlando Bloom, to play Prince Harry. Honestly, we can already hear him nailing that charming accent. In true satirical fashion, the show pokes fun at the relentless media attention the family receives by, you know, giving them more attention.

“Hey guys, there’s an opening in the Royal Family.”

Janetti voices the main character, 6-year-old Prince George who also happens to be the youngest heir to the British Throne, as he continuously spills the royal “tea” each episode (honestly, that pun has never felt so right). The rest of the cast includes Condola Rashad (Meghan Markle), Lucy Punch (Kate Middleton), Tom Hollander (Prince Philip and Prince Charles), Iwan Rheon (Prince William), and more.[video_embed id='1881360']Prince Harry reunites with Meghan and Archie in B.C.[/video_embed]The Instagram account the show is based on notoriously features some epic, hilarious Royal-esque one-liners from the perspective of Prince George, so we can’t wait to see how that translates in cartoon form.

Will the series speak to royal sibling rivalry? The British Monarchy and royal duties? The recent departure of Meghan and Harry? The on-going fight for the throne? Scandal on a royal scale? The show was developed before “Megxit” became a reality, but we have a hunch they’ll find a way to go back and work in the recent drama.George, we love you already… in both human and animated form, and it’s your time to shine.[video_embed id='1871834']Harry and Meghan's news met with harsh reactions from various news outlets[/video_embed]
