Hey now, you’re not all-stars

Drake‘s enthusiastic global ambassador-ing for the Toronto Raptors has not gone unnoticed, so much so that it has been the cause of much debate whether the rapper is a good or bad thing for the Eastern Conference Champions. Yes, that’s right. Eastern. Conference. Champions. Ahhh, that’s never going to get old.

Now, as the Raptors prepare to play the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, Drake was admonished by a surprising pop band: Smash Mouth.

Fox

That’s right, the San Jose-area band best associated with Shrek had some fighting words for Drake.

WTAF? #GlorifiedMascot?? Exsqueeze us? Um, we don’t think so. And neither did the rest of the Internet.

Drake has yet to respond but perhaps he doesn’t need to; Twitter did just fine on its own.

Yikes, the Spice Girls’ tour got off to a rocky start

It was the tour many were waiting for. The Spice Girls, minus Posh, kicked off their reunion tour on Friday in Dublin, Ireland and it started with Ginger, Baby, Sporty and Scary announcing they wanted to spice up everyone’s lives.

“We welcome all ages, all races, all gender identifies, all countries of origin, all sexual orientations, all religions and beliefs, all abilities,” they said in the show’s opening, according to Variety. But not everyone could hear the statement, thanks to some shoddy sound in the stadium, so bad that those areas affected couldn’t tell what song the women were singing.

While Mel B took to her Instagram Stories to apologize and hoped “the vocals and sound will be much, much better” for their next concerts, Mel C didn’t acknowledge the gaffs and simply relished the moment.

Stop right now, thank you very much.

But the following day, Kanye treated his wife to the most amazing gift: a trip to Vegas to watch her favourite singer, Céline Dion, perform at Caesars Palace. Considering Dion’s residency ends on June 8, the concert was clearly a hot ticket so leave it to Ye to score a pair. But even better? Kimye also managed to get a private meeting and photo session with the singer.

Kim also posted all kinds of videos from the concert on her Instagram Stories and it was basically a blast. Oh, the power of love.

Harry spent his first night away from home, playing polo in Rome

A couple of days before baby Archie turns three weeks old, his dad, Prince Harry, honoured a prior commitment that he couldn’t back out of: a polo match in Rome. That meant he had to leave Meghan and Archie for a night.

Today The Duke of Sussex played in the ninth annual @Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup, held for the first time in Rome, Italy, to raise funds and awareness for Sentebale’s work supporting children and young people affected by HIV in southern Africa. Co- founded by The Duke of Sussex in 2006 with Prince Seeiso, @Sentabale has worked for over a decade in Lesotho, Botswana and Malawi to address the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people affected by HIV, providing them with the tools, peer networks, and education to lead healthy and productive lives. Eastern and southern Africa remain the regions most affected by the HIV epidemic – accounting for 45% of the world’s HIV infections. Lesotho and Botswana have the second and third highest infection rate of HIV in the world – with children often too afraid to access the life-saving treatment and care available, because there is still too much associated stigma. Sentebale’s core programme supporting children living with HIV reaches over 4,600 children and young people each month who are coming to terms with living with HIV through monthly Saturday clubs at local healthcare facilities, and 1,700 youth through residential week-long camps in Lesotho and Botswana. Last year alone, Sentebale’s youth volunteers aged between 18 and 24 delivered sexual and reproductive health education, including topics on HIV prevention in schools and communities to over 100,000 of their peers in Lesotho. Support from today’s match will help @Sentebale to expand these essential and life-transforming initiatives. It was all worth it, as the match benefited Harry’s Lesotho-based charity Sentebale. Harry was also joined by his longtime pal, Nacho Figueras, who had some super-nice things to say about the new dad. Figueras took to Instagram to bust out the kind of words we all want our friends to say about us.

Sweet, right? And the photo Nacho chose to go with it? Just perfect. And pretty sure that time away flew by for Harry and, hopefully, Meghan.

Sasha Obama is absolutely gorge in her prom photos

Barack and Michelle Obama‘s youngest daughter is all grown up. In tweets that have since been deleted, Sasha Obama kept her style simple yet elegant and we can’t believe she’s already 17. And what’s even better? Michelle and sister Malia were there too.

Let’s be honest, Sasha and her date couldn’t do too much; she’s got Secret Service detail with her at all times. We’re sure it was a lovely night nonetheless.
