Celebrities are spending their quarantines in all kinds of creatives ways, and fans everywhere are benefiting. Case in point? The new video from former Parenthood actor Sarah Ramos and Teen Wolf star Dylan O’Brien, in which they re-enact the famous “better lawyer up” scene from The Social Network. The minute-and-a-half clip hasn’t just gone viral since Ramos posted it on May 21, but it’s even received OG star Andrew Garfield’s stamp of approval. In the video, Ramos plays both Jesse Eisenberg and Justin Timberlake’s respective roles of Mark Zuckerberg and Napster co-founder Sean Parker, while O’Brien plays Garfield’s character Eduardo Saverin. Why the pair decided to reenact that particular scene together is a mystery, but if you’ve seen the original then you’ll probably agree their take is spot-on. And in case you haven’t seen it, Ramos helpfully tweeted that out too. Fans everywhere were here for it—the video has been seen more than 1.8 million times now—but one of the video's biggest fans seems to be Garfield himself. Ironically, he doesn’t have social media to share the love himself, so he enlisted his trusted proxy Lin-Manuel Miranda to share the love for him. Addressing the actors formally, the Hamilton creator shared a screenshot of his text interaction with Garfield who informed Miranda, "If I had Twitter I’d let him know he MURDERED it." “’Twas a f---ing honor sir,” O’Brien wrote back along with a gif of Dwight Schrute from The Office giving a salute, as one does when Spider-Man himself praises your work. So why did the actor choose Miranda to deliver his message? It seems as though he and Garfield struck up a friendship during pre-production on Tick, Tick… Boom, the upcoming autobiographical musical by playwright Jonathan Larson in which Garfield stars and Manuel directs.[video_embed id='1896040']RELATED: Lin-Manuel Miranda shouts out the first ‘Hamilton’ performance in Canada [/video_embed]The affirmation from Garfield himself truly says a lot about the stellar Ramos-O'Brien quarantine performance. Not only was the original The Social Network film an instant hit when released in 2010, it scored three Oscars and earned Garfield a Golden Globe nod for his role.“The wonderful thing about the script is everyone’s right and everyone’s wrong,” he said at the time. “It’s all gray. Even my character can be excused of certain things. The question is: How do you live your life? What do you value? Do you value your own power? Your own success? Or do you value the people who helped you get there? It’s really interesting.”Clearly—we're still talking about it a decade later.[video_embed id='-1']BEFORE YOU GO: Quarantine day 45: Start a band with your dog [/video_embed]
