Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan may be busy this holiday season, dodging photographers and reporters who have been trying to nail down exactly where they are in the world, but the royal couple still managed to get their Christmas cards out in time. On the eve of Christmas, it only makes sense that we would finally — FINALLY! — get a look at the Sussexes' holiday card, and let's just say it's more than we could ever have hoped for.Harry and Meghan's first Christmas card together was a beauty. In 2018, they went with a black-and-white, never-before-seen shot from their wedding that was as stunning as the subjects themselves, with the Sussexes' silhouettes backlit by fireworks. This year was their first Christmas with their son, so naturally it was going to be epic. And they didn't disappoint.Just like George was the star of the pudding pics with his father Prince William, granddad Prince Charles, and great-grandmum Her Majesty the Queen, Harry and Meghan are basically background players in their family card. Extras. Accessories, if you will. Because it's Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor who is the main draw, the leading little man of the photo they chose. And while the words of their card are simple ("Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. From our family to yours."), we barely see them. All we see is Archie and his royal awesomeness. While the card wasn't shown off by the Sussexes themselves, the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust — of which The Queen is patron, Harry is president and Meghan is vice-president — were more than happy to share the royal family's holiday greetings on Twitter on Monday. The last time we saw Archie was in September during Harry and Meghan's trip to Africa — the babe's second-ever public appearance (his first was during the photocall the family had at Windsor Castle two days after his birth). He's now nearly eight months old, and in the last three months, not much has changed — aside from getting a tad bigger, growing a little more hair, and apparently entering the crawling phase. Frogmore Cottage must be babyproofed to the max.Archie's face looks both innocent and mischievious — a dangerous combination. Royal reporter Omid Scobie had other fun details about the couple's card, like how they opted to be environmentally friendly by sending out e-cards to their friends, family, colleagues, charities and patronages. He also uncovered who took the photo: Meg's pal, actress Janina Gavankar. Gavankar, who most recently co-starred on The Morning Show, is based in L.A., so perhaps the Sussexes were there when it was taken. At least before they headed up to Canada, where Harry, Meghan and Archie are "spending private family time" and celebrating the holidays.Harry and Meghan are the latest members of the Royal Family to have their Christmas card leaked. Prince William and Duchess Kate's card hit social media last week and showcased the family of five posing casually on a vintage motorbike and sidecar. The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, on the other hand, opted for the old-school approach and released their Christmas card themselves. It featured the couple during their historic royal visit to Cuba earlier this year, with Charles behind the wheel of a classic MG and Camilla in the passenger seat giving a little wave.
