Ariana Grande‘s been all over the news lately, what with her whirlwind engagement to Pete Davidson and her highly anticipated Sweetener album release. Another reason Ari’s in the spotlight? She’s on the cover of Elle magazine looking completely different than we’re used to seeing her. Gone are her exaggerated cat-eyes and signature high brunette ponytail. Instead, Ari’s gone bleach blonde, complete with dark roots.
Sure, she recently made headlines with her toned down make-under for a recent Vogue cover, but this time the pop star is flaunting hip length bleach blonde locks. And not only was she making waves with her change of hair, she also shared her opinion on certain top 40 stars who (as Elle puts it) “have a Reputation” *ahem* for staying politically neutral. “That’s wild to me,” Ariana told the magazine. “There’s a lot of noise when you say anything about anything. But if I’m not going to say it, what’s the f*cking point of being here? Not everyone is going to agree with you, but that doesn’t mean I’m just going to shut up and sing my songs. I’m also going to be a human being who cares about other human beings; to be an ally and use my privilege to help educate people.” We’re with you, Ari.
