The paintings you’re about to see might look a little different than you may remember.

That’s because caricature artist Rodney Pike decided to jazz up some of history’s most famous portraits by replacing the subject’s face with that of Mr. Bean (a.k.a. Rowan Atkinson). Of course, hoity-toity artsy types might cringe when they look at the altered works of artists like Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn or Hans Holbein the Younger, but hey, they’ll live. Besides, actor and director John Malkovich recently altered other famous works in a similar way. So for the rest of us normal folk, have a laugh at the slideshow below:
