Ashley Graham and her husband Justin Ervin have announced the arrival of their first child. The proud new parents shared the exciting news on Instagram, revealing that their son arrived on Saturday, January 18.Graham and Ervin have yet to post the name of their little bundle of joy, but their announcement revealed that the baby arrived in the evening and “changed our lives for the better.” The pair kept their news short and sweet, thanking their followers for their “love and support during this incredible time.”The couple made their pregnancy announcement on August 14, 2019 while celebrating their ninth year of marriage. Uploading a sweet Instagram video, Ashley and Justin pretended to pose for a close-up picture before having the camera zoom out to reveal Graham’s growing baby belly.
In November, Graham appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote her new season of the Ellentube series Fearless and revealed that she was having a boy.
Graham’s son has already been part of several photoshoots with his famous mom and walked his first runway. In September, Graham hit the catwalk for Tommy Hilfiger and made history as one of the few models to ever appear in a fashion show while visibly pregnant. “I am so grateful and proud to have been a part of such an incredible show,” wrote Graham. “Thank you for honoring the importance of inclusion by representing so many different women on your runway and showing that beauty comes in many forms. I could have never imagined the feeling of walking a runway pregnant, it was truly an honor for us to be there.”
The model also ticked off another first in her career, shooting the January cover of Vogue Magazine. “Thank you Vogue Magazine and Anna Wintour for embracing a conversation around pregnancy and motherhood, which can be both incredibly exciting and also isolating,” wrote Graham next to the reveal of her cover. “The community and support I have discovered along the way has been incredible, and to share this monumental moment with my son and husband in the pages of Vogue could not feel more special.”

A VOGUE COVER!!! — celebrating inclusivity, mothers, pregnancy and love —  is so surreal. I have dreamed of this moment my entire career since I was a catalogue model living in Nebraska two decades ago. Thank you @voguemagazine and #AnnaWintour for embracing a conversation around pregnancy and motherhood, which can be both incredibly exciting and also isolating. The community and support I have discovered along the way has been incredible, and to share this monumental moment with my son and husband in the pages of Vogue could not feel more special. @annieleibovitz, you made me feel like a true pregnant goddess Photographer: @annieleibovitz Fashion Editor: @tonnegood Makeup: @hannah_murray1 Hair: @sallyhershberger Bookings Director: @felicitybwebb Writer: @jonathanvanmeter

In addition to her job as a model, Graham has continued to expand her resume throughout her pregnancy. In October, she launched her Thank Bod YouTube channel which includes workout guides starring Graham. Designed around the idea that it’s just as important to be kind to your body as it is to be fit and eat healthy, Thank Bod is a body positivity series that motivates viewers while breaking down exercises. Graham also returned with a new season of her podcast Pretty Big Deal with Ashley Graham. This season, Graham sat down with fellow famous moms Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Shay Mitchell, Huffington Post CEO Ariana Huffington and musician Meghan Trainor for candid and inspiring conversations.

My girl and new mama @shaymitchell is this week’s guest on @prettybigdealpod Social media doesn’t always show the whole picture; the sleepless nights, diaper changes, and the pressure and guilt so many moms feel. This week’s episode is a conversation about how perspectives can get twisted through media, but also the impossible standards we hold moms to. While I could not be more excited for motherhood, I can’t help but be nervous about mom shaming. As you transition into motherhood it’s up to YOU to know when the time is right to return to work or have a night out. Thank you Shay for coming on Pretty Big Deal, challenging our assumptions, and sticking up for moms!! You are a superhero @prettybigdealpod schedule for 2020! Audio for Shay’s episode is out NOW everywhere you listen podcasts, and TOMORROW you can check back on my YouTube channel for the video!
