To say Ashley Graham is embracing her pregnancy is an understatement. The model and podcast host has been showing off her ever-evolving body on Instagram in that hilarious, refreshing way of hers, and it's been a joy to watch. In her latest Instagram post, Graham revealed how much weight she's added to her frame during her pregnancy — and revealed that she's all good with it. "Throughout my pregnancy so far I've gained 50lbs. And the best part is, I don't care," the body positivity activist captioned the pic of her in a yoga stretch. "I have never felt better, and I am so thankful that my body and son have allowed me to be as mobile and flexible as I have been. Between working out, yoga, acupuncture and lymphatic massages - I finally feel like I figured out this whole pregnancy thing and how to feel my best."
Based on her last line, it hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows, but she's gotten a handle on it. Graham and husband Justin Ervin
announced in August that they were expecting, and in November she got
tricked by Ellen DeGeneres into revealing the baby's gender. It's a boy, FYI, and pretty sure it's safe to say he's not going to be a goblin.
For most pregnancies, there are highs and lows. For Ashley, she's all about the highs. She always remembers to breathe, be it during a yoga sesh or whatever the heck this nightmare is.
Or when she's singing and dancing. Carefully, we might add.
She's just been getting used to her beautiful new bod and now she's in a comfortable place. Well, as comfortable as one can be.
But then there are some days where even Ashley feels like an alien has taken over her body. Leave it to her, though, to welcome it with open arms. And a growl.
