Model Ashley Graham is continuing to use her platform to empower women to feel good about their bodies, regardless of their shape, stretch marks and size. The model has just launched her latest campaign with Swimsuits For All and is using unretouched photos, showing every beautiful curve and dimple that would otherwise be airbrushed to oblivion.
Continuing her crusade as a body-positive role model, Graham posted a handful of shots from the new campaign on her Instagram account this week, explaining that she decided to go with an unorthodox approach to photography to show off her new line of swimwear. “We decided to use unedited paparazzi shots as the campaign images,” writes Graham. “Reminder: being authentic is beautiful.”
Graham shot the new campaign in Jamaica and Miami and said the look for the new ads and swimsuits were inspired by women of the 1920s, who paved the way for the women of 2018. We’re pretty sure bathing suits included a lot more fabric back then, but we love the direction she’s followed in the new Swimsuits For All line.
Sharing pictures of the swimsuits on social media, Graham uses the tagline “all bodies are beach bodies” and writes “I’m not ashamed of a few lumps, bumps or cellulite… and you shouldn’t be either.”
Graham’s efforts to help women feel confident regardless of their size is definitely paying off. In a video posted by Swimsuits For All, a group of young women can be see visibly excited to meet the model while on location in Miami to shoot pictures for the new line of swimsuits.
With summer right around the corner, many women and men are beginning to feel pressure to lose weight before daring to put on a swimsuit in public, but Graham’s latest campaign is acting as a reminder that there isn’t one specific body type that deserves to feel great at the beach. If you’ve got it, flaunt it. And if you don’t got it, flaunt it anyways.
Ashley Graham’s latest Swimsuit For All line is available now in sizes 4 to 34.
