It’s rare that people act responsibly after drinking alcohol.

But for four inmates in Australia, they did just that. The group had apparently been breaking out of Darwin’s Berrimah Prison “from time to time” by jumping a fence. Once outside, they would meet up with people who supplied them with alcohol and marijuana before sneaking back inside for the 7 p.m. headcount.

Minimum security prisons, amirite?

But their luck finally ended when guards found them at “various stages of inebriation” while they were drunkenly yelling and fighting.  After a quick search of their cells, officers found items like empty bottles of alcohol, mobile phones and chargers, rolling papers and a small quantity of a “green leafy substance.”

Authorities are now investigating to find out just how many times the men broke out, and if anyone else was involved. The inmates have since been transferred to the prison’s maximum security section.

YOLO, indeed.
