Looks like Victoria just got served.

When police noticed a dance-off in the city’s Centennial Square Tuesday night, they did something a little unexpected. Instead of breaking up the event, the officers actually joined in–and the result was nothing short of amazing.

Const. Mike Russell was one of the first to hit the dance floor, doing a hip-hop dance that seemed to borrow elements of “the robot”.

But when Const. Gord Magee’s hit the mat, he took things up a notch with some epic breakdancing moves of his own.

Needless to say, this is “community policing” at its finest.

“This is just another example of officers engaging with the community,” VicPD media relations officer Matt Rutherford told CTV News. “It’s great to see our officers engaging in some dance moves.”

You can check out even more epic dancing in the video above.
