Baked Feta

What you need:

  • 555g feta (not packed in water)
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ½ cup green olives
  • 4 sprigs thyme
  • 4 sprigs rosemary
  • 1 lemon, skin peeled into strips

What you do:

  1. This recipe gives feta cheese an unusual and delicious twist. Most people wouldn’t think to heat it up!
  2. Preheat oven to 375F. Place feta slices onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and honey, garlic, lemon zest and herbs. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the edges are golden brown. Serve immediately with pita, baguette or crackers.
  3. After it comes out of the oven you can add a bit more of the ingredients that we topped it with before the oven. Some more herbs and honey will give it an even bigger kick.
  4. If you’re not a fan of feta then goat cheese is a great substitute or even a wheel of brie. It’s got to be cheese that has a creamy texture.
