It’s pretty clear that Donald Trump is determined to do the complete opposite of anything Barack Obama would do, whether it makes sense or not. (This is Trump we’re talking about here, so don’t expect things to makes sense.) Where Obama was compassionate and gracious, Trump is angry and vindictive, and while the former knew what it meant to lead a country, the current POTUS appears to be dragging it into the ground.

As the terrorism in Charlottesville, Vir., occurred, Obama posted a series of tweets that, unlike Trump’s barrage of hate, were so loved by the masses that one of them became the most liked tweet of all time. OF ALL TIME.

The well known quote from Nelson Mandela, via Obama, couldn’t have come at a more important time. The first tweet, with that sweet, innocent photo, became the most liked tweet of all time, as Trump concurrently said there are “very fine people” in the KKK. Honestly. It’s such a stark difference; what Americans once had and what they’re dealing with now.

Thankfully it did not go unnoticed. As some watch incredulously from the midst of all the chaos, and others look for ways to fight and get their country back, it’s clear the time to be surprised is over. Expect it, get fired up and do something about it. Liking and retweeting a tweet might seem like a small gesture, but it’s a start.
