Here’s something that should come as no shock to anyone – President Obama has a banging playlist. Let’s hope his post-presidential duties include his own radio show. DJ Ba-rock?

The President of the United States has firmly established himself as the coolest president in the country’s history (sorry saxophone-playing Bill Clinton), shooting hoops, displaying a cutting sense of humour, and rubbing shoulders with celebs like Beyoncé and Jay Z.

Now Obama, who is finishing up his eighth year as president, has shared his workout playlist and it’s as well-rounded as we expected it to be.

Obama keeps things current for the most part, possibly showing the influence of living with two teenage daughters. His list includes Icona Pop’s “Emergency,” The Black Eyed Peas “Let’s Get It Started,” Jay Z and Drake’s “Off That,” and of course, a little Beyoncé with “Get Me Bodied.” We’re totally picturing President Obama as Hugh Grant in Love, Actually dancing around the White House.

The POTUS threw in one surprising pick with Aussie rocker Courtney Barnett. When we think about it, as the President of the United States, you definitely need a few tracks to rage-dance to every once in a while.

In addition to his newer picks, Obama also included “Could You Be Loved” from Bob Marley and the Wailers, “Live It Up Pts. 1 & 2” from The Isley Brothers, “If You Love Somebody Set Them Free” from Sting, and Nina Simone’s “Sinner Man.” Who could he be thinking of with that last pick?
