We challenge you not to sing along when you hear a Barenaked Ladies song. Seriously, go ahead and try it. It simply cannot be done. Their infectious melodies and lyrical rhymes just beg to be belted out at the top of your lungs. With hits like “Brian Wilson,” “Old Apartment,” “One Week” and, of course, “If I Had $1,000,000,” it’s no wonder that BNL is considered something of a national treasure ’round these parts and why they remain so popular 27 years later.

Over the years, the band (who are currently on a six-month tour across Canada, the US and the UK) have criss-crossed our great country more times than you can count. So, we challenged lead singer Ed Robertson and drummer Tyler Stewart to run down the best things they discovered along the way. Fave city to get drunk in? Best late-night snack? Watch the video above to find out what they said!

Barenaked Ladies’ 10th studio album, Silverball, is available now.
