Starbucks might already be a part of your morning routine, but now the company is giving you a reason to visit after the sun goes down.
The coffee chain is debuting a new evening service on April 5 at three of its locations in
the centre of the universe Toronto. Starting at 2 p.m. each day, an expanded menu will become available that will feature delectable, shareable offerings like artichoke and goat cheese flatbread, meatballs with tomato basil sauce, bacon wrapped dates with balsamic glaze, and Parmesan crusted chicken skewers.
Another noticeable difference will be the availability of various wines along with Canadian craft beer and cider. Yes, you read that correctly–alcohol at Starbucks.
Of course, you will still be able to get a cup of coffee after 2 p.m. In fact, the locations are offering a selection of extra-fancy Starbucks Reserve coffees while supplies last.
In terms of ordering, you still have to go to the counter to request and pay for your food like you normally would. Once it’s ready, however, staff will bring it to your table.
The locations where the service will be rolled are 3079 Bloor St. W., 446 Spadina Rd. and 1740 Avenue Rd. While there hasn’t been any official word on whether or not the service will be expanded, if it proves successful, we can’t see why the company wouldn’t.
