Happy 93rd, Betty!
Apparently every day on the set of Betty White‘s show, Hot in Cleveland, her assistant greets her with a hula. Well, the greeting Betty received on Friday (the day before her 93rd birthday) was extra-special. Because nothing says Happy Birthday like a hula-dancing flash mob, right?
Driven onto the set in a golf cart by co-star Dave Foley, it’s safe to say Betty was stunned as the dancers kept on coming. She clapped and shimmied along and was entertained by everyone — including her HIC girls, Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick. White was emotional as the “Happy Birthday, Betty” sign came out but leave it to Betty to turn those happy tears into laughter: “At 93, you shouldn’t be doing this!” What a pro.
SNL spoofs Justin Bieber’s Calvin Klein ads
Saturday Night Live star Kate McKinnon might be better at being Biebs than Biebs himself. The show was in fine form as it took aim at the singer’s CK ads and the Photoshop allegations in two separate skits.
In one, McKinnon points to her stuffed Calvins and says, “Yeah, my pee pee’s in there,” while in the other, she says, “My Calvins… Clothes for my big wiener” and shows an extra-large bulge.
McKinnon’s Bieber also drinks from a juice box, lifts two-pound weights, attempts sad push-ups and rides around on a scooter. Perfection. Good for Justin for taking it all in stride.
@nbcsnl well played. Lol.

Kendall Jenner wrote for the Wall Street Journal
The WSJ Magazine asked six “luminaries” to weigh in on the topic of youth — and one of them just happened to be 19-year-old model and reality star Kendall Jenner. It should be noted that Kendall — and younger (but older-looking) sister Kylie — previously hired a ghost writer to pen their dystopian teen novel but, hey, we guess she’s the right age and in the perfect position to weigh in on the subject of youth. Among her thoughts: She feels like she grew up too fast, she tries to be immature at times, laughs at the thought of her dad partying, and wonders what she’s going to be like at 65. We’re not sure if she actually wrote her paragraph — which is sandwiched between a psychology professor’s and that of a dermatologist and founder of a luxury skin care brand. It sounds like she gave an interview and it was just transcribed for print. No judgment, but let’s not make Kendall out to be a future Pulitzer Prize winner or anything.
Christina Aguilera debuts daughter on Twitter
Five months after giving birth to Summer Rain, Xtina shared the first picture of her daughter on Twitter on Sunday — and it couldn’t have been cuter.
The pink dress, frilly “diva” underwear, those roly-poly legs! Perfection.
Date nights for Gosling and Mendes, and Martin Lawrence
Sorry, breakup watchers, but looks like trouble is nowhere near the paradise of two of Hollywood’s most private couples.
First up, Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes. Esmeralda’s parents stepped out on Saturday night to watch a comedy show starring Don Rickles. Sounds like the perfect night out to us!
And despite reports, Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence are still going strong. Reports came out over the weekend that the two were spotted at an L.A. restaurant and had a candlelight dinner for two. Someone told People that they were there for a couple hours, ordered several dishes and split a dessert. We don’t know what’s more surprising — that they managed a night out without anyone taking their photo, or that Jen let him share her dessert?
