THE LATE LATE SHOW WITH JAMES CORDEN
Billie Eilish is the latest to hop into the passenger seat of James Corden's big black SUV to help the Late Late Show host get to work. But after watching the entire thing twice, it's hard to believe they didn't get into an accident because James struggled to keep his eyes on the road much of the time. That's because Billie was absolutely mesmerizing as his passenger, almost dangerously so. The 18-year-old and Corden sang her hit songs including "Bad Guy" and "All the Good Girls Go to Hell." While cruising around Los Angeles, the self-professed Belieber recounted how she "lost [her] brain" upon meeting the "Sorry" singer for the first time at Coachella earlier this year. Then, after singing "Ocean Eyes," during which Corden was totally captivated, Eilish got emotional, telling Corden, "This song gave me my life" explaining it's what helped her establish her career and allowed her to have the life she has now. That's when James and Billie decided to make a stop at her house, where the six-time Grammy nominee still lives with her parents. Her older brother Finneas, who writes and produces songs for Billie, lived there up until this year, but he's still very present in the home. Things got a bit uncomfortable when Eilish made Corden hold her pet spider — OK, that's an understatement, things got squirmy as hell. The singer talked about how she and Finneas would always be working on songs growing up. Lying in his bedroom, she recalled a promise he made to her: "I'm going to make you the biggest pop star in the world." That was in 2015. Look at her now. "We made the whole album and the EP in his little bedroom in our house."After sharing a sweet moment with her mom, Billie and James returned to the truck where they wrapped up their time together, singing "when the party's over." Eilish's voice is angelic, hypnotic and dreamy, to the point where you'll get goosebumps as you watch just how moved she gets by doing what she loves to do."I have loved every single second," James said at the end. Same, James. Same.
