As more celebs raise their voices in solidarity with the protests and marches happening across Minneapolis and America after the murder of George Floyd by law enforcement, singers Billie Eilish and Pink took to Instagram to condemn the ‘All Lives Matter’ comments that have derailed conversations and spaces held by the Black Lives Matter movement.

On her official Instagram, Billie Eilish posted a statement over the weekend that reads, in part, “IF I HEAR ONE MORE WHITE PERSON SAY 'aLL liVeS maTtEr' ONE MORE F***KING TIME IM GONNA LOSE MY F**KING MIND. WILL YOU SHUT THE F**K UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUP???? NO ONE ELSE IS SAYING YOUR LIFE DOESNT MATTER. NO ONE IS SAYING YOUR LIFE IS NOT HARD.”

The ‘Bad Guy’ singer continued her all caps statement, directly trying to explain how “all lives matter” comments pull focus away from black lives that are being discriminated against and makes white people the focus of a movement that has nothing to do with them. “If someones house was on fire & someone is stuck in the house, are you gonna make the fire department go to every other house on the block first because all houses matter??? NO! BECAUSE THEY DON'T F**KING NEED IT.”

She continued her statement, saying, “YOU ARE PRIVILEGED WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOR. SOCIETY GIVES YOU PRIVILEGE JUST FOR BEING WHITE. YOU CAN BE POOR, YOU CAN BE STRUGGLING.. AND STILL YOUR SKIN COLOR IS GIVING YOU MORE PRIVILEGE THAN YOU EVEN REALIZE.”

The post, which has been liked by almost 6 million Instagram users and garnered comments from other celebrities like Natalie Portman (who responded with heart emojis) and formula 1 racer Lewis Hamilton (who commented, “You are great”) was regrammed by pop icon Pink.

Pink, who has never shied away from making her voice known, directly responded to “all lives matter” comments on her regram and put them all on blast.

When a lawyer commented on her post, implying that the ‘Just Like A Pill’ singer was saying other races don’t matter, Pink clapped back in the comments with, “You are the epitome of white privilege and the saddest part is that you don’t even hear yourself and probably never will.”

Pink was having none of it when the All Lives Matter army showed up in droves. When one commenter inexplicably said, “All Business Owners Life’s Matter too,” Pink clapped back in epic fashion with, “So you can’t read.” Then a troll commented that she was “stupid,” to which the ‘So What?’ singer responded, “What an insightful and helpful comment.”

Undeterred by the trolls, Pink has been very active on her official Instagram, posting images from the protests, regramming other celebs like Alyssa Milano and Ellen Pompeo, and sharing ways to donate to social justice reform organizations.
