Brooklyn Beckham is dating a woman who worked as a look-alike—of his mom

Brooklyn Beckham has had his share or romances but his latest girlfriend has a connection to his mom which could make things a little weird. The Sun is reporting that the eldest Beckham son is dating Phoebe Torrance, the daughter of former golfer Sam Torrance, and the two have gone on a few dates and haven't been shy about showing their feelings for one another. But it's not PDA that's raising eyebrows—it's how much Torrance, 27, resembles his mom, Victoria."Brooklyn and Phoebe move in the same social circuit, and have known of one another for quite a while," a source told The Sun. "She is a beautiful girl, and very talented—it's no wonder Brooklyn took a shine to her. Bizarrely though, from a certain angle she does look terrifyingly like his mother, Victoria." Ouch.The insider continued; "A few of his friends have teased him about it but Brooklyn is adamant that there is nothing 'Oedipal' about it — or words to that effect." The thing is, Phoebe, a model (and writer, director and ambassador, according to her Instagram bio), used to work as a Posh Spice look-alike in her early posing days as a means to pay for university, which is what ups the freaky factor. "Presumably she never thought she might one day meet her idol." Or you know, dating his son.

Brooklyn's last relationship was with another model, Hana Cross. They got together last December but in August, there were reports of a split. The last time she posted a pic of her and Brooklyn was in July and once those pics dwindle to nothing, that's basically the 2019 version of confirming a break-up.Beckham previously dated models Lexi Wood and Alex Lee Aillón, as well as had rumoured dalliances with Sofia Richie and Madison Beer. His most high-profile girlfriend was Chloë Grace Moretz. The then-teens started dating in 2014, which lasted for about four years on-and-off but by Spring 2018, they were done for good.As for Beckham and Torrance, we'll see how long they last.
