Just when you thought your children’s beds weren’t overrun by enough stuffed animals, word comes from Build-A-Bear that they’re holding a very special sale that will only add to stuffy collections everywhere. The company announced that, for one day only, customers in Canada, the U.S. and U.K. will only have to pay the dollar amount of their age for any Make-Your-Own fluffy friend. No, really.

While the sale excludes outfits and accessories, it’s still a massive bargain. The only catch (if you want to call it that)? In order to take advantage of the deal, customers must be 18 or over and sign up for the company’s Bonus Club, either online or in person. Children who want to be a member must be accompanied by an adult. In case you’re already rolling your eyes, don’t worry, grown-ups. The Bonus Club is free. Seriously, it won’t cost you a thing.

The reason for the sale? A celebration, really. According to Build-A-Bear President and CEO Sharon Price John, “nearly one-third of our sales are associated with birthdays.” So going forward, kids ages 14 and under can visit any Build-A-Bear Workshop and receive a Birthday Treat bear on their birthdays — all for the price of their age. It’s their way of creating an experience “to commemorate birthdays in a memorable way.” Nothing wrong with that at all.

Oh, and it’s not just for the little kids; this deal extends to those of us who are kids at heart. The most anyone will pay for a Make-Your-Own stuffed animal is $29. So for those who might just be ever-so-slightly older than 30 (cough, cough), you’ll only have to pay $29 (plus that damn tax).

Well? What are you waiting for? Don’t walk, RUN, to the closest store this Thursday. Or get a head start and line up now. Because you’ve got quite a selection to choose from. Unicorns and bunnies and dinosaurs, oh, my!
