No, we’re not going to tell you that for the price of a cup of coffee, you can save someone’s life. You’ve heard that a million times before. But The Body Shop has started a Water Aid initiative, and what that means is this: for every holiday-themed gift you buy, The Body Shop will supply a full day’s worth of drinking water for a family in Ethiopia.

Currently, just from people shopping, the brand is already accountable for 1,593,519 days of clean water. And the campaign isn’t even done yet. The campaign hits its limit at a staggering 3.65 million days of safe water, which will assist 1,000 families with safe water over the next 10 years. And all you had to do was buy a gift set, or a body butter. That’s pretty cool.

WHO IT’S FOR

Anyone who loves to pamper themselves with fragrances, lotions, makeup and bath products.

HOW MUCH?

Really depends. Bath and body sets range from $5 to $100; fragrance sets range from $10 to $60; skin care sets range from $10 to $100; and hand care sets are all $15.

WHERE TO FIND IT

The Body Shop.

‘Tis the season to be jolly (and a bit stressed from shopping, list-making, cooking and more shopping). But don’t get yourself too worked up, because we’re here to help you cross those names off your list one day at a time, one gift at a time. From now through December 18, we’re wrapping up daily gift ideas, Monday through Friday,  so you can get back to more important festive pursuits, you know, like drinking eggnog. We’re going to make this so easy, you’ll want to shop this way every year.
