Canada has taken an important part of its history into the digital age. It’s one of the handful of countries that has transferred all of its records from the First World War into a digital database. This means Canadians can explore their family history from more than 30-million images and 540 terabytes of data.

To search the database for a soldier or nurse who served in the First World War, check out this website.
