Sarah Gadon has had the sort of career that people dream of. She’s one of Canadian director David Cronenburg‘s muses (hello, she’s been in A Dangerous Method, Cosmopolis and Maps to the Stars), she was named a TIFF rising star in 2011 (even Orphan Black’s own Tatiana Maslany has received the same honour) and because, as you can tell, she’s beautiful, Giorgio Armani Beauty has granted the alabaster babe a contract.

So, yeah, four years since Gadon was named a rising star, she has worked. And worked hard.
And now she’s on the cover of Fashion Magazine’s October issue, and she looks drop dead gorgeous. The look is half early-to-mid 2000’s Natalie Portman, and half piercing, icy blue Nicole Kidman death stare. And get used to it, because you will see a lot more of it.

While the TIFF fixture doesn’t have any premieres this month at the festival, she’s keeping very busy. She’ll be starring in the mini-series 11/22/63 with James Franco and Josh Duhamel, Indignation with Perks of Being a Wallflower’s Logan Lerman and The 9th Life of Louis Drax with Jamie Dornan.

So, yeah, this cover is just one more thing to remember her by. But will you remember her? Is she destined to be Canada’s next Rachel McAdams?
