Canada’s a big country full of thousands of cities, townships, villages and, well, giant landmasses each with its own unique name. And before you even bring them up, no, we’re not talking about Dildo, Newfoundland, or Saint-Louis-du-Ha! Ha!, Quebec. (But nice try.)

Instead, we’re taking a look at Canadian place names that are so hard to pronounce, so hard to roll off our tongues, we’d rather be forced to say “Saint-Louis-du-Ha! Ha!” 1,000 times in a row than attempt them in a public setting. Okay, maybe that’s a bit dramatic. If we’re being honest, we could all probably nail these names with a little help and practice.
