It’s been a while since we’ve seen Carlton Banks — in the flesh, not on reruns — strutting his stuff while donning his classic preppy sweater and bow tie. Last night, Carlton’s alter-ego Alfonso Ribeiro FINALLY brought the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air character to the dance floor and graced us with a performance of his infamous “Carlton” dance on Dancing With the Stars (DWTS).

It was glorious. It was magnificent. It was everything we ever dreamed of — and the fans agreed. The danced earned him and pro dancer Witney Carson a perfect score. Heck, who would give him anything less? The dude even recreated Uncle Phil’s living room for God’s sake!

So, why did it take so long for Ribeiro (who will forever be known as Carlton) to bust out the Fresh Prince dance on DWTS? Well, with less than a dozen couples left on the show, last night’s episode was all about reliving their most memorable years — through dance (duh!).

Ribeiro did it justice and we’re going to have “It’s Not Unusual” stuck in our head for the rest of the day. Hey, we’re not complaining.

Remember, you can catch full episodes of DWTS every Sunday at 8 p.m. on CTV Two.
