Cat survives 8 days in box after owner accidentally mails her across country

Looks like the cat’s out of the bag, er, box! U.K. resident Julie Baggott was packing up an order of DVDs she was going to mail across the country. But at some point while she wasn’t looking, her cat crawled inside the box for a snooze. Once Baggott realized her cat was missing, she assumed it was gone for good after it never turned up for an entire week. That is, until her customer called wondering why there was a cat in her box of DVDs. The animal has since made a full recovery and is back with her owner.

Man unleashes ‘revenge fart’ when denied sex

Something tells us that didn’t help his chances. A woman in Sweden called police this week to report that, after she refused to have sex with a man in her apartment, he squeezed out a “revenge fart” and stormed out. She said that the smelly odour had disturbed her “peace of mind”. “It smelled very bad in the apartment,” she told police. It’s unclear if any charges will be laid.

Candy-Crazed Parents Blamed For Ruining Kids’ Easter Egg Hunt

If you thought your parents were embarrassing, just wait until you read this. Organizers of a free Easter egg hunt in Connecticut say the event turned sour when parents stormed the field before kids even had a chance to start hunting. Apparently these same “adults” also pushed, shoved and even stole candy right out from other children’s baskets. “It was like a friggin riot,” one parent wrote on Facebook. Fortunately, staff brought in more candy later and helped distribute it to the kids who didn’t get any.

Ancient boulder to stay after villagers threatened to chain themselves to it

Some people consider their spouse to be their rock, but for a village in England, it’s a little more literal. A stone known as the Soulbury Boot has sat in its current place for 11,000 years and is tied to local folklore. But after a motorist crashed into the rock (it basically sits in the middle of a road), councillors considered moving it. They quickly reconsidered though after residents came out in droves threatening to chain themselves to the rock to protect it. The stone is believed to have settled into its current position 11,000 years ago.

Stripper performs at 8-year-old’s birthday party

They really do grow up so fast. Video uploaded to Youtube (which has since been deleted) shows children watching a stripper at a birthday party. While it’s unclear if the performer actually removed her clothing, the video shows one kid smacking the dancer’s backside, while another throws dollar bills over her. Florida police were alerted about the video, but didn’t lay any charges because it’s unclear where it was taken. Many are now wondering how a stripper ended up at the birthday party in the first place.
