The life of a celebrity can be quite glamorous but when a star is promoting the hell out of a project, it’s anything but. In fact, things can get downright tedious. They get less than five minutes to plug their work but after a while the same questions can be asked and you can only imagine how boring it is saying the same thing over and over again.

So when Australian journalist Jonathan Hyla had his four minutes with Cate Blanchett during a Cinderella junket, he figured he would try to stand out with some original material. And, boy, did he ever.

“How were you able to get that cat to do what you wanted [it] to do on a leash?” Hyla asked. “I tried to put my girlfriend’s cat on a leash, and it just never works for me.”

Blanchett’s response was amazing: “That’s your question? That’s your f*cking question?”

Reports of Blanchett losing her cool and storming off after Hyla’s question went viral and, to be fair, he did post clips of the “best worst interview” he’s ever done on his Instagram for all to see.

That being said, Blanchett was nothing like the evil stepmother she portrayed. Rather, the Oscar winner hilariously played along like the good sport she is and the interview continued in fine form. So it seems adding a little drama makes a junket way more interesting. And memorable.
