Dolce and Gabbana recently came out on the offensive, striking at families who aren’t made up of one mom and one dad. They have gone on record, stating that children born from in vitro fertilization are “synthetic children.” As you might expect, people are outraged.

Elton John‘s children, Zachary and Elijah, were born using this method, which is why the singer hit back with an angry Instagram post calling for a boycott of Dolce and Gabbana:

Since Elton’s message to the designers, other celebrities have come forward with their support. Among them, was Victoria Beckham

Ricky Martin, also a proud papa, asked the designers to stop spreading hate. He also supported a boycott of the designers:
