Let’s face it, our generation is no stranger to love stories brought to life over text or DM. But it’s not often that those stories are set to the soundtrack of legendary Canadian chanteuse Céline Dion. In this case, her heart will definitely go on… with the help of an iPhone and 4G network.

Dion has officially joined the cast of Text for You, an upcoming romantic drama and English-language remake of the 2016 German movie SMS Fur Dich directed by Karoline Herfurth. Already set to star in the film are Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Sam Heughan, who will lead the heartwarming tale about love, loss, and finding love again. Over the course of the film, tender moments between Chopra Jonas and Heughan will be memorably highlighted by Dion’s music.

As for the story, Chopra Jonas will play a grieving woman who continues to send romantic texts to her fiancés phone after he passes away, as she attempts to find her way back to life. To her surprise, after two years her partner’s former number is reassigned to a man across town (played by Heughan), coming to terms with a heartbreak of his own. Over time, the pair find solace in each other and, eventually, come to love again.

This might not be the movie news we saw coming, but it certainly is a welcome surprise. After all, who better to deliver the soundtrack to a new romantic drama that promises to have viewers feeling all the feels, than an icon like Céline Dion? No one. The answer is no one.[video_embed id='2064253']MOVIE NEWS: Bette Midler confirms ‘Hocus Pocus’ sequel[/video_embed]

The story is based on Sofie Cramer’s novel of the same name and, under its tentative English title, will be directed by Jim Strouse (The Incredible Jessica James) who also scripted the adaptation with Lauryn Kahnis.

This isn’t Dion’s first rodeo in the realm of Hollywood soundtracks. From Titanic to Beauty and the Beast, Sleepless in Seattle and even Deadpool 2, the 52 year-old singer is arguably the queen of major soundtracks at this point. The music video, in this case, might not feature Ryan Reynolds’s Deadpool character twirling and leaping about on stage but based on her track record, it's sure to be epic nonetheless.

Chopra Jonas is starring in a number of upcoming projects, including The White Tiger, Citadel and The Matrix 4 (to name a few). Heughan, on the other hand, wrapped season 5 of Outlander earlier this year.
