Icon, legend and all around fabulous individual queen Céline Dion has just landed her first-ever beauty contract at the stunning age of 51. Considering the fact that the name “Céline” has been synonymous with grace, glamour and beauty since the early 1990s, we’re as shocked as you are that it took this long for her to become a beauty brand ambassador.

Dion announced that she is the newest global spokeswoman for L’Oréal Paris via Instagram Tuesday morning.

So proud to announce that I’m a spokeswoman for L’Oréal Paris and will be spreading the magic words “I’m worth it” with all women around the world. “I never saw that coming, especially at 51 years old,” Céline said in a press release. “When you think I’m done, I’m just starting. I am finishing the shows at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. I am releasing a new English album and going on tour. And, my association with L’Oréal Paris is the beginning of a new amazing journey for me.”

Dion basically already embodies L’Oréal’s “I’m worth it” slogan, and she shared in a promotional video what the phrase means to her personally — “Follow your dreams, keep moving forward, never look back, feel free, spread your wings.”

We will, Céline, we will.

The French-Canadian songstress joins other iconic L’Oréal ambassadors like Jane Fonda, Eva Longoria and Julianne Moore. Céline’s first campaign is a TV ad for Excellence Hair Colour which will launch April 22. It’s as if L’Oréal knows we all want Céline hair!

Dion has been a staple at Paris Fashion Week in recent years and started her own gender-neutral kids clothing line, Célinununu, in November. It was only natural that the singer take on beauty next.

But seriously, is there anything this woman can’t do?
