Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan have crossed a significant milestone in their separation. The famous couple announced their plans to separate in 2018 after nine years of marriage and Dewan filed for divorce six months later. On Saturday, the pair finally reached a settlement in the custody battle over six-year-old Everly. The former Step Up co-stars have been seemingly at a standstill for months over how to share custody of their daughter. The Blast reported on Saturday that the co-parents finally reached an agreement that would see Everly splitting her time between her parents with 50/50 custody. The exes also agreed to work with a counselor in order to lay out a schedule that works best for their young daughter and ensures both parents get an equal amount of time during holidays. The pair also agreed that pictures of Everly could not be used on social media in for-profit posts. The no-exploitation clause means that Channing and Jenna can share pictures of their daughter in family photos or at events, but sponsored posts must be approved by both parents prior to posting.[video_embed id='1882854']RELATED: Channing Tatum will dance again in new musical[/video_embed]The new agreement came only hours after the exes had a not-so-friendly run in on social media. After Tatum posted a picture with on-again girlfriend Jessie J, a follower left a nasty message about the British singer, writing “Jenna looks better with you.” Tatum was fast to clapback at the follower, writing "I don't usually address s*** like this. But you seem as good a of terrible happy people hating thoughtless person as any of them. why don't you seriously thing about what your doing. It's hurtful and I aint about it."

The actor went on to defend his girlfriend, writing, "If you can't not be a horrible hateful person on my page and support the infinite and untouchable beauty and woman jess is...please kindly get TF out of here. No one wants you here. Especially me. And ain't nobody more stunning and beautiful to look at but even more as a human than Jess. And yeah that includes my ex.”The Magic Mike star quickly added a second comment, clarifying that his ex Jenna is "beautiful and amazing in her own right" but he didn't want to pit the women against each other. Tatum has since disabled the comments on his post, but the fallout continues.[video_embed id='-1']RELATED: Jenna Dewan went on a post-breakup Peruvian retreat[/video_embed]Even with the addendum, it appears as though Tatum’s comments didn’t sit well with Dewan’s boyfriend Steve Kazee, with whom she's expecting a child. Kazee posted a message on his Instagram Story that included a gif of Will Ferrell saying, "Watch your mouth," captioning the photo "That reckless talk bruh..."Tatum and Jessie J didn’t let the negativity get them down. Instead, the newly-reunited couple made their first red carpet appearance on Friday night at the MusiCares Person of the Year gala in Los Angeles and followed up their first major event together with a second A-list party on Saturday night, at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala in Beverly Hills, California.
