There’s nothing that says permanent quite like a tattoo. Body art can last you a lifetime – so what better way to cement a relationship than with indelible skin ink? It looks like Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner agree, because the engaged couple got matching tattoos of their own. Their choice of forever? A little line from Toy Story.

The pair received the matching tattoos on their wrists. Joe’s reads “To infinity”, while Sophie’s states,  “& beyond”. Sanghyuk Ko (also known as Mr. K), a former graphic designer turned tattoo artist who works at the so-popular-it’s-wait-listed Bang Bang tattoo parlour in NYC, proudly showed off his handiwork on Instagram.

This isn’t the first time Ko has worked with the couple. He’s also inked tributes to their various family members, one on Sophie’s pinky finger and another on Joe’s forearm. After seeing the intricacies of his work, we can see why the pair decided to come back.

Speaking to Marie Claire about her relationship with the singer, the 22 year old actress said, quite refreshingly: “I’m still like, Holy sh*t! I’m engaged. There’s this weird misconception that being married is the greatest thing that’ll ever happen to you. But I’ve always found that my career is something I work for, and when I achieve something, there’s a sense that this is the greatest thing I’ll do in my life. It’s lovely to be engaged. Not like I achieved anything, but I found my person, like I’d find a house that I love and want to stay in forever. There’s a sense of peace that comes with finding your person. But there’s a drive that comes with your career.”

The two announced their engagement publicly in October, 2017.
