Someone in the Cheetos marketing department deserves a substantial raise. Just in time for the holiday shopping rush, the delicious snack food brand has released a slew of gifts, all designed by Chester Cheeto himself, and available for purchase on their online shop.
Honestly, we thought this sounded more like a story you’d read on April 1st, not a month before Santa arrives. But we did some browsing, and it looks legit.
So, what kind of loot are we talking about? Well, the Eye of the Cheetah (see what they did there?) diamond and orange sapphire ring and earring set is the showstopper of the 13-item lineup. But if we had to guess, the price tag is probably deterring the average person from hitting “add to shopping cart”—the jewellery combo costs a hefty $20,000 U.S (around $27,000 CAD).
Dollars and cents aside, the 18-karat gold ring and earrings are actually quite beautiful, despite being designed to mimic a cartoon Cheetah who hawks delicious, dangerously cheesy junk food.
“It’s really [geared] towards the ultimate Cheetos fan who really wants to put on display the love that they have for the brand,” Ryan Matiyow, Senior Director of Marketing at Cheetos told Mashable.

While the jewellery is still up for grabs, other products have already sold out. The Flamin’ Hot Pants ($60 U.S. or around $80 CAD), are no longer avail, and, truth be told, we’re kind of devastated that we’ll never get to wear tights covered in pictures of Cheetos bags.
And we won’t be getting our paws on the sleeping bag and matching sleep cap ($50 U.S. or around $67 CAD) either—totally sold out.
