We love Cher. We love her hair, we love her expressions and we love her catchy as heck music. But Cher is looking young.
Now, Cher is 69, but in this Marc Jacob’s ad campaign (above), she looks like she’s a slightly creepy 43 with no visible expression lines. It’s an interesting stylistic choice, considering the rise in body acceptance advocates like Madeline Stuart and Tess Holliday, and the even greater rise in women over 60 who are killing it as models right now.
Naturally, we’re a bit torn. On the one hand, Cher is a fierce woman who does what she wants, when she wants to. And we can appreciate that. And on the other hand, Cher kind of looks like a spooky, Photoshopped illustration.
