Chris Rock is letting the world in on a reoccurring trend in his life. Wednesday night on his Instagram account, the comedian posted another selfie of himself pulled over by the police, with an accompanying tag that read, “Stopped by the cops again wish me luck,” underneath it. Shockingly enough, it was the third time in just seven weeks that Rock has posted a photo of himself getting pulled over. We can assume that it’s part of documenting a frustrating trend that he’s getting fed up with.

Despite being a famous actor and one of the most popular comedians in the world, Rock says he is a constant target of racial profiling. The comedian spoke candidly about feeling profiled in an interview last December, saying, “I mean, I almost cry every day. I drop my kids off and watch them in the school with all these mostly white kids, and I got to tell you, I drill them every day. Did anything happen today? Did anybody say anything? They look at me like I am crazy.”

No one knows the exact reason why Rock was pulled over by the police three times in a little over a month, but it’s clearly getting to him.

While filming an episode of Jerry Seinfeld’s web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee in 2013, Rock and Seinfeld were pulled over for speeding. In the episode, Rock jokes, “It would be such a better episode if he pulls me to the side and beats the shit out of me. If you weren’t here, I’d be scared. Yeah, I’m famous — still black.”
